Yes, our development team will utilise API's where possible to integrate with existing platforms.
machOne is a comprehensive scheduling platform that provides its users with an end-to-end solution to satisfy our customers' schedule, aircraft, and crew requirements. The platform is all-inclusive where we charge per tail, and all features and capabilities are enabled; there are no hidden extras.
Yes, machOne is a home grown South Africa developed solution based on SA CAA regulations (91 / 121 / 135 / 67 / 93). We built the platform from the ground up, and it is not a retrofit of an existing technology adapted to the aviation environment.
A local development team based in Centurion, South Africa, supports the machOne system.
machOne has various user levels that allow access to the features and functions. The airlines determine the user rights and what suites their operational requirements.
Optimising machOne for a unique Airline operation is possible. We do not have customised features, but we will develop them and make them available if an element is beneficial to all airlines. Optimisation is a preferred methodology as it allows for the maintenance of a stable and robust codebase.
Yes, machOne can send email notifications (and text messages) to crew and line managers notifying those affected crew members of a change to duty or information.
machOne does enable crew members to have three bid options and swop duty without the involvement of a roster clerk. All bids and duty swops are validated against the SA CAA regulations and the company requirements to be processed.
machOne allows for exporting all tables within the platform for analysis. Standardised reporting views will be developed for the user groups once machOne is implemented into the airline.
machOne has many operations focused reporting to manage Flight exceptions, licence expiry of crew members, Recency of crew members, Planning flight details, and standby reports.
With permission from your colleagues, you will be able to view their roster. Line managers can view their direct reports rosters through the Crew View page.
machOne is not an HR solution; therefore, we do not control the leave days of the crew; however, we allow for the import and approval of leave captured into the platform to make the flight crew unavailable on the roster.
machOne can ensure that only capable aircraft are scheduled to airports with operational restrictions, i.e. aircraft size. In addition to the aircraft limitations, the platform can manage crew sign-out to restrictive airfields and limit specified aircraft registrations into locations, i.e. ETOPS.
machOne uses a series of flight masters linked to form a flight string. Aircrews (Flight deck and Cabin) are allocated to these strings based on their ratings and skillsets. The platform validates all crews and aircraft against the SA CAA and company regulations and applies a load balance (hrs) on the flight crew to ensure equitable workload.
machOne can use block hours for FDP and Flight hours to maintain compliance. With the integration of AvNet, actual hours of crew members are captured via the flight reports and used in future planning cycles.
machOne can integrate through an API to any system; however, has integrated the platform with AvNet to provide a complete solution from scheduling to en route to post-flight for regional airlines.
